This policy explains what personal data Nineties (“the site”, “I”, “me”) collects when you use nineties.cc, why I collect it, and the rights you have over it. I keep data collection to the strict minimum.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for this website is Nineties (nineties.cc), a personal, non-commercial project. For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, contact the controller at hello@nineties.cc.

2. What data I collect

I only collect what you actively send me:

• Contact form — your email address, the subject, and the content of your message. These are used solely to read and reply to you.
• Basic technical data — like most websites, my hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

3. Why I use it (lawful basis)

• To respond to your message — based on your consent and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
• To keep the site secure and operational — based on legitimate interest.

I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for advertising.

4. How long I keep it

I keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, then delete them.

5. Cookies & analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. To understand how many people visit, I use Vercel Web Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookieless service that counts page views without setting cookies, without storing anything on your device, and without collecting information that personally identifies you. The only browser storage used is a small functional entry that remembers you have dismissed the cookie notice.

6. Sharing

Your data is processed by the providers that run this website: Vercel (hosting and cookieless analytics) and Resend (delivery of the email sent from the contact form). I do not share your data with anyone else.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these, email hello@nineties.cc. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
